NWR: Anyone else dreading the LOST finale?

I LOVED the show from the beginning, but this past season has been totally frustrating and I'm worried it's going to be a crappy ending and I will be mad.

I don't really know what to think!  For about 30 seconds, I thought I did, but then I started thinking about all of the thing that have happened on the island and got myself all confused again!  I'm looking forward to reading all of the summaries and thoughts online and in the papers today.

After it was over FI and I looked at each other and were like "WTF! That answered nothing!" I'm interested to see what some of the bloggers and people who had highly developed theories about what the show was about have to say about it. I thought at some point the writers/producers said definitively that it was NOT purgatory. Was that a big lie, or did they just not know how to end it and went with that after all?

They said the island wasn't purgatory. And it wasn't.

I really enjoyed it up until the last 15 minutes. I thought I knew where it was going, and I was happy with that. But then it went somewhere else, and that direction didn't jive with me,

I just want to rewrite those last 15 minutes for myself, and then I'll be happy

I loved it!  I knew with a show called LOST we weren't going to get all our questions answered. 
I love how they made the sideways world like their purgatory.  We all thought that was their real life, had the plane not crashed. 
I also really loved how each cast member reconnected and remembered everything once they met their trigger person.  Ii was like they finally got their closure and were able to move on, except for Ben, who still had unfinished business, I guess.
I don't know about you, but I found myself crying alot in the episode.  Especially watching the Saywer/Juliet reconnection, and when Jack dies right after seeing the plane fly over him
