Dress - alterations / storage

Hi all - I purchased my dress at enzo's bridal before they went out of business and luckily I was able to get it before they closed that day. But they were holding it until my wedding and were going to alter it.  I really want to bring it to someone I can trust to alter and store it for me until the wedding, 7.3.11. I'm so paranoid about all vendors now. Does anyone have any rec's for where I can bring it? It's a pronovias - I tried the flagship in the city but they said they only alter dresses purchased at the store.

Hollywood Bridal in Kennilworth is great and does outside alterations.

Wow, you bought your dress super early. I honestly don't know of any places that are going to store your dress for over a year. I would honestly put it in your closet for now and then take it to a good tailor a few months before you get married. I'd be too worried that something would happen to it if I had it stored some place else for so long.

Thanks for the tips! I know it's crazy early but b/c of schedules we have to have a long engagement and I had to start looking for my dress early ... good in some respects and not so much in others lol - thanks again for the help! :-)
