packing envelopes..ah

okay so I have all these invitation pieces everywhere! I want to start packing them so they are ready to go however I am not sure, is there an order in which they go in the inner envelope? I have an invite, reception card, response card & envelope, and direction cards.  How do you put the inner envelope in the outer one?  I have searched online but they all say different things....ahhhhh!

I did it in the order that made sense to me.

Invite, reception card, response card (I stuck it under the flap of the response envelope) and then the direction/hotel card which was the same size as the invite so it was ike a sandwich. also we had a ribbon around the middle which held everything together.

I put the inner envelope in the outer, I had the inner flap facing "the back" of the envelope basically so the flaps were on different sides.

I hope someoen can explain that better its much easier to show it because I'm having trouble finding the words.

I did it in order of importance- I don't know if that's right though. It also worked out to be in order of size, which was what I had been told. The idea is to make a stack of them from biggest to smallest, with smallest being on top. That also ended up being my response card, which I thought was the most important.
