Alexa Prisco

I know many you are using or have used Alexa Prisco (The Glam Fairy) for your wedding.  I have an upcoming trial with her and am very excited, but a little nervous about the cost.  Does anyone have any pictures of their trials and/or wedding day with Alexa?  I've been to her site but was just looking for some other ideas/thoughts.

    I've seen her work and didn't like it too much going on, plus IMO she's a spammer on the boards, I know a few girls on here that loved her, so this just might be my opinion.

    From the pictures I've seen, I liked her work. Iit's definitely heavy on the makeup...but I like to wear a good amount of eye makeup.

    I would never pay that price though.

    I think her prices are way overpriced. And I am not a fan of her style.
    She has some pretty harsh reviews on www.weddingwire.com
    and that would concern me.
    Just my thoughts.

    I used Alexa and was very happy.  She did a great job with everyone, some went with a lot of make up others went more natural.  Personally, I wear make up and really enjoy wearing make up so I went with that kind of look, but it did not feel heavy to me.  I would definitely recommend her and would use her again.  Below are some pictures.

    I didn't hire the Glam Fairy for my upcoming May wedding, but did check out their price list. They charge extra for people with "mature skin." Their definition of that is 35 and up. 35!? WTF? I totally took offense to that. I also wouldn't want my mother paying more for makeup because of her age. I find that totally unacceptable and crass.

    I had a trial with Alexa recently. Here are two pictures I took of the makeup she did. Below it is a picture of how I normally look with makeup.

    I hear she is good but very pricey.  There are other girls on here with much more reasonable price tags that come highly recommended.  I also hear she reads this board everyday and if you say anything bad about her it will come back to bite you in the azz.

    She did my makeup for my wedding.  You can look up My big fat pink greek wedding and see for yourself.  Somehow, her pic was deleted by accident but she did my makeup. I hired an assistant to do the rest of the bridal party and the moms.  My avatar is a pic is from my wedding day
