Hi, I'm sorry to post directly to you, but I am going to look at the Hamilton Park Hotel  in a few days (I saw a post a few weeks ago its your venue) and was wondering what made it stand out for you to pick it?   Also, are hotel rooms reasonable?  Thanks so much!! Mary

    Hi! Sure Id love to help. We LOVED the fact that it is a hotel so we can have an afterparty, breakfast the next day, and we have a lot of OOT guests so not having to worry about shuttles, etc helps too.

    It was beautiful and modern, which we liked a lot more than typical ballrooms. The staff is incredible and the most organized and effecient people I have met w/ all my wedding planning, which really sold me since I hate things being unorganized or not getting straight answers, etc. The food is amazing, we had our tasting and I tried everything just because I felt I had to, I am very picky and there was actually nothing I didn't like and I would say pretty much loved everything.

    I have also heard from various vendors how great the linen selection is, how great the food and staff are, etc and these were people I didnt even book :) It is also one wedding at a time and the ballroom was huge. Plus we loved the outdoor space for cocktail hour as well (its indoor/outdoor).

    Room rates for our guests are $109/night for normal room or $189 for Junior Suites. We get the presidential suite for free plus one free room for my parents.

    OMG - thank you so much!!!  Sounds awesome.  I'm meeting with Kate, she seems really nice:)  I will have a lot of OOT guests too, the rates sound reasonable for how nice the hotel seems.  My wedding will be in October 2011, so if there are any vendors you can recommend as you plan, would you mind passing them along to me:  memonte1@aol.com.   Thanks so much!!!!!!

    Sure! Kate is great too cause she just got married in September and she is very honest about who is a good vendor, etc :)

    So excited for you and so excited to another person to get married there too! BTW the food at the tasting was awesome- I was literally too full to eat for like 2 days haha. what date are you looking at?
