Anyone use Vista Print for menu cards? Opinion? (PIP)

They are having a 50% off promotion, so I can get 200 for $50.  The only thing that worries me is the paper quality.  Any thoughts?

I've used Vistaprint for other stuff and the paper quality has been good. Nice cardstock and you can request a glossy finish or a linen finish on most things, I'm sure they would have that for the menus. The linen finish is really nice.

But, you could easily make something very similar in word or publisher. Just do two text boxes side by side on a regular sheet of paper. You can format the textbox with a colored border and just type in the menu items. If you have a color printer, print at home. If not, Staples can do it real cheap! It would be way less than $50.

You're probably right.  I feel like I have post traumatic stress disorder from trying to do resumes and envelopes a long time ago on a crap printer. :)  I definitely want them on a heavier weight paper, maybe I'll see what I can find.

I just realized we need a second set of cards for the kids menu (our venue offered to do a regular salad, chicken fingers, french fries and cookies and brownies for them) I don't need as many of those, so maybe I'll order theirs first and see how I like them?  The promo is until 6/30 so I definitely have time. Thanks for the feedback fellow Spartan :)

I used Zazzle.com for my menus. I tried to do them myself at first and they weren't working out. I used the "rack card" style for them and they came out perfect. The price was a little bit more then what your saying with vistaprint but it was well worth the money.

I was able to do this in Word:

I'm going to take it to Staples and see how I like it on ivory cardstock.
