Chair covers/sashes

Hi. So our venue (arianas) provides chavelli chairs. I have seen some pics where sashes were tied to the backs and it looks really nice. I think Addison park uses these chairs too. Anyone have ideas for sashes or ties or are you skipping them altogether. Tia!

Our venue (Crystal Plaza) uses chiavari chairs too. I'm pretty sure Addison Park has them. I've seen them with the sashes before and I think it looks pretty. For me, I feel like that style of chair really doesn't need anything else to dress it up. They already are a little more sophisticated and upscale so I didn't really want to cover them up with a ribbon. I'd skip it and put the money into something else. They already are an upgrade. But if it's something you really and truly love the look of, go for it :o)
Here's a few I saw that looked pretty neat!

The best piece of advice I got ~  When all is said and done after your wedding the two things your guests wont remember are, what color the walls were and what the chairs looked like.

So imo, if you are looking to spend more elsewhere do so.  Chairs and for people to sit.

I agree with PP, it's not necessary (unless the chairs are hideous). The first place we thought we'd use had some pretty ugly chairs, so I knew we'd have to get covers. But then we found our current venue, which also has chiavari chairs & they really don't need anything else. Plus, I don't have a DOC, so I need to use our limited time & resources well in decorating the room. It's too big of a time waster for me.

My venue has chiavari chairs as well - I agree with TripleJ... the chairs are already nice looking to begin with. I don't think you need to do anything to them. I'd save the money and put it towards something else.
