Windows on the Water at Frogbridge (In Millstone Township)

Hey ladies!  I'm going to view my FIRST venue next Saturday!!  It's Windows on the Water at Frogbridge (note: this is not the one in Sea Bright, it's in Millstone Township).  It's a favorite of mine -- based solely on online pictures & menus posted online -- so I'm really excited to go & see it in person! 

I was wondering if any of you have viewed this venue or had your wedding here?  

Also, any advice on what to do/not do or ask while I'm viewing a venue would be super helpful also since I've never done this before!

    I went to a bridal show there and I really liked it. Keep in mind that it's on the grounds of a summer camp so it doesn't have the "wedding" feel until you get into the building. It does make for some pretty fun pictures though. :)

    I really liked that it was only one event at a time. They have a really pretty deck overlooking the pond (there's also a gazebo for ceremonies). The cocktail hour would be in a heated tent. They did have some of the food to sample and it was very good.
    The room is small but pretty. Oh, and also..it's a lot of winding roads from the highway. It looks like it's in a residential area (but there's farmland so it's not like totally residential..if that makes any sense..lol)

    I'm in the midst of choosing a venue myself so I understand what you're going through. Most reception sites will go through everything with you. You want to make sure you ask what is included in packages and what is not. Don't forget..you could always call and email them with questions afterwards.

    So, I had no idea this existed until I looked up their website. I have never been there, other than for a camp swim meet one summer (I worked at a different camp).

    TBH, Frogbridge really is a day camp that seems to be throwing in a banquet facility just to bump up from the normal weekend company picnics. Our camp did the same, and the food they served at weddings was nothing great. The same person making meatball subs for the kids Friday afternoon was cooking for the Saturday evening wedding. I think for the pricing, you can do better in the area.

    EDIT: I don't think liquor is included there, it only seems to have a dinner wine service where it says "liquor is provided by the client".

    Wow I had NO clue it was a day camp at all.  Definitely something I want to consider.
