I am so out of the loop when it comes to these things. Can I get an idea of what the going rate is for bridal party hair and hair styling for the bride? Thanks!

It can vary greatly. My normal stylist wanted $150 for the bride and $100 per girl. We went to another salon by my house (who also did a great job) and it was $60 per BM and $85 for the bride.

I'm using Michelle Lo Conte and paying $300 for myself (with airbrush) and each girl is $150 with half up/half down hair and makeup. She's on the pricier end but I loved everything at my trial so I went for it.

I think the average for the bride is $125-$175 not including travel.

My hairstylist in West Orange has affordable pricing, I think she said $45 for an updo at her salon and she said she charges the same for brides or bridemiads since she knows the bride is spending so much money already, she did a great job with my hair on saturday and I was very happy with the results, her name is Rose 973-325-0034

I paid $150 for my hair, the girls paid $75 for an updo and blowouts for my mom and MIL were $40. I used Jamie at Skin Bar and Paint for hair.

Make-up:  $65 for me $45 for bridesmaids

Don't forget to also take into account trial prices.
