How did you meet FI?

we met at a metal show in august of '08. i was originally supposed to meet some other guy there who ended up not being able to go. i went alone and my now fiance came over and started talking to me during the opening band. it turned out we had been to some of the same concerts in the past but never met. we talked online and hung out a few times (he lived in central nj, i lived in south and was going to school in de) and finally after 3 months he made a move and we've been together ever since.

Blind date. I quizzed the hell out of him and he passed but I wasn't sure we'd go out again because I wasn't really loving being set up or really looking for a relationship at the time. ( I knew I'd be relocating for my job in a few months) He asked to see me again for a follow up inquisition and investigation. He made me laugh. And now it's almost 9 years later

DH and I met on Yahoo Personals.  He found me.  Yes, online dating does work!From the first date he was so much more genuine and nice than any man I'd ever dated.  Within 3 months we were very much in love and he proposed 13 months after we met.  After almost 3 years of marriage we love eachother more deeply today than ever.

we met on a cruise. it was late and i went to one of the bars and there he was. it was an amazing coincidence that we were both from jersey and it just worked out.

We met at the dog park.... 2 weeks before I was moving to Florida.  We ended up spending every free moment together in those 2 weeks.  And he came down for a weeklong visit after I'd only been there 2 weeks.  I ended up moving back to Jersey in a short 8 months....we were engaged after 2 1/2 years.
