Your Reception entry song and cake cutting song

Good morning,

What song did you/planning to enter to? What song did you cut your cake to? We met with our DJs last night. I had a list of songs but forgot to put down a cake cutting song and entry song for us. Its not really a big deal if we don't find any songs but just thought i'd get ideas from what songs you guys played

    Bridal party and parents entrance:  Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feeling"
    Our entrance:  Beyonce "Crazy in Love
    Cake cutting:  Carrie Underwood "Ever Ever After"

    We're coming out to "Bring Em Out" and cake cutting might be the song from Juno, still deciding on that one. FI thinks coming out to Bring Em Out is just hilarious. He also thought playing the Shots song by Lil John would be funny. I nixed that idea real quick.

    We didn't do a formal entrance, but we were tossing around the idea of coming in to "Hope I Never Lose My Wallet" by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

    Cake cutting song was "Eat It" by Weird Al. Other options were "Sweetness" by Jimmy Eat World, and "Sugar Free" by the MMBosstones.

    We're still deciding on both.....For cake cutting I think I like The sweetest Love by Robin Thicke but still not sure..

    we came out to "Because the Night"  Cascada's dance version of the 10,000 Maniacs song (it's really a Springsteen song though... just a little fyi lol)

    our cake cutting song was "Upside Down" by Jack Johnson

    BParty / Parents are also entering to "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas
    We are entering to "Zombie Nation" (FI's pick! Ugh! But had to let him have final say over SOMETHING! LOL)
    And we are cutting the cake to "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leopard

    Entrance: Superman theme song =)

    Cake cutting: "Love You Madly" by Cake. Only a few people "got it," but those who did relly enjoyed it.

    our entrance song was the indiana jones theme song
    our cake cutting song was "all i want" by toad the wet sprocket (my fave band ever- couldn't not have a toad song at my wedding!)

    Parents and Bridal Party walking into the FIFA 2010 World Cup Anthem (FH is a HUGE soccer fan).

    We're walking into We Got It Going On by Bon Jovi and Big and Rich

    Cake cutting is Whatever It Is by Zac Brown Band

    We're walking in to Taper Jean Girl by Kings of Leon and cake cutting is Sugar Magnolia by the Grateful Dead. We chose very eclectic/ random tunes that probably aren't very popular but they are "us" so that's all that matters :)

    BP entrance: One of the songs from Rocky (Final Bell)
    Our entrance: Keep Your Hands to Yourself by the Georgia Satellites
    Cake cutting: Alcohol by Barenaked Ladies (has nothing to do with cake, I know, just a song we think is funny and we love BNL)

    Yeah, we're weird, our DJs thought we were crazy with these songs but we were going for humor.

    Thank you for posting this! After I wrote out the song we are coming out to something didn't seem right. I don't have speakers on my comp at home so just googled who the artist was. I listened to is here at work, it was the wrong song!!! It's Robin S. Show Me Love. I still can't find the version we like, I might just have to call a radio station or something to find out what it is. I would have been so upset with the other song.

    I love that you're coming out to Hells Bells- My dad is a HUGE Devil's fan and I wanted them to be introducted to Hell's Bells but my mom was not happy, lol. I love it!!!

    Not sure about the cake cutting song yet, but when we walk in we're playing The Flinstones theme song because when we first started dating my mom decided that FI looks like Fred Flinstone and not its a big inside joke but we thought it was cute.

    I let my husband pick out that song, he really wanted it because of a joke with him and his Best man so I let him, since he really didn't ask for anything else for the whole wedding..LOL
