April Beach Wedding

Hey Girls! 
Im getting married near oak island, nc in april and I live in Illinois. My family and i go out there every spring for a vacation but I was still wondering what would be a good restuarant to go out to eat at after the wedding that night? We are just having a small wedding on the beach with a few family members so nothing huge.

    I am jealous...I was supposed to have an April beach wedding as well! However, due to circumstances, I had a backyard November wedding. Good luck with your planning!

    There's not a lot on Oak Island. There's the marina restaurant that is seafood. I dont think it's all that great, but I'm not a big fan of fried seafood. You'd be better off either driving to Southport, taking the ferry over to Bald Head Island or driving 45 minutes south to North Myrtle Beach.

    Well, H and I actually found a house and his family is big into "you can't live together before you're married." So, we decided that instead of fighting over who got to move in first we would just go for it. :) It was an interesting adventure planning a wedding in 2 months!

    There is a great seafood place on Oak Island called Blue Water grill.  Its out near the point on the furthest part of the island.  I've also heard good things about a place in Southport called The Pharmacy.  Hope this helps!  I love OKI!
