seems like a genius idea... They send you 5 flip cameras, you give them out to people at your wedding so they can record... Then you send the cameras back and they edit and give you a finished video.

Has anyone heard of them, or used them? I'd hate to pay that much money without knowing the quality. They have sample videos on eir website, but you know how companies can be... Advertise one thing then give you something crappy.

Flip camera quality is similar to what you can do on your cell phone.  They have no zoom, no image stabilization, crappy microphone, and a super tiny chip that gets grainy in low light (which will be the case in most churches and receptions).   I view these as the things you use on vacation to take snippets, or of your kids first steps,etc when any camera is better than no camera.  I just don't see the quality as being anything worth spending money on.....and you are at the mercy on how serious the guests are when doing the filming.
