Inexpensive DJ

Hi, I was married back in June and this site was always a wealth of knowledge.  I am having a 50th anniversary party for my parents in May & I need an inexpensive, reliable DJ.  We used Sound Connection and they were awesome, but I am not spending that kind of money on a 50 person party.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  The hall is The Reception Center at St Clements in Matawan.  I would like to find someone for under $500 for a 4 hr party.  TIA

You might try to see what they charge because usually they have a different price for weddings then non weddings.  I recommend Colorblind Productions.  www.colorblindprd.com

You could try 1-800 JAM MUSIC.  They were reasonable for a wedding, so maybe worth giving them a quick call for a party.

Check out Steven Bloom Entertainment. We used them for our wedding and they were very affordable. Their prices for private parties may be within your price range.

Not sure how much they charge hourly, or for small parties but Venue Audio is who we are using for our wedding. They are very reasonable!

Yes, I did look on Craigslist - but I am honestly a bit afraid of it since some of that stuff are scams.  We are going to go with Elite Entertainment - they came down to our budget   Our good friends used them for their wedding.

JK Entertainment John Kutenits , He has a site I don't know it. I got married March 16 he was my favorite aspect of it! He knew exactly what I had in mind musically provided uplighting Gobo lights for under 500 basic package. He was awesome
