If you are using a person who has not done your makeup before I would do one.  God forbid you dont and  hate it on the day of you may freak out.  I am glad I did mine so I could see a rough estimate of what I would look like. We want to see pics if you get one!

Part of me wants it and part of me doesn't. its like another cost and plus I will be all done up and no where to go lol.  I wish I could do it before my shower but its a suprise hahahaha DANG IT!

I would agree with danes. Go for the makeup trial. It is someone else doing your makeup and this is a chance to see how they apply the makeup, make any tweaks, etc. If you just wait until the day of it may turn out to be a major stress factor if you don't like the way it looks. As far as airbrush or reg makeup, I don't really have much of a preference, it seems that airbrushing is more popular. From what I have heard the airbrushing tends to last longer.

I am skipping it. Not worth the cost IMO.
I am not going crazy with makeup... (I rarely wear any at all, and I want to look like ME on my wedding day. I am going with all neutural tones, and bringing a pic of what I like.)
I have gotten my makeup done a million times before without a trial as a BM, and I have never been unhappy with the way it came out, so I am not worried.

What about doing it before your bachelorette? A friend of mine is doing that and I thought it was a great idea.

I wouldn't feel comfortable not getting one done. I was debating between regular and airbrush and went with airbursh and loved my trial. My skin just looked so polished and smooth. Let us know what you decide!

Thanks ladies!!  I had make-up done for a friends wedding in IL and it came out great, was very pleased.  I have never had airbrushing but I think that is what I am leaning towards.  Still debating the trial.  It's funny since I am controlling you would think that I would want the trial hahaha

I did a trial with my former makeup artist who later screwed me over. I did it before my e-session so it worked out.

I did not do one with my actual makeup artist. I had seen her work on some of the girls here and trusted it. I booked her so late that I didn't even want to bother with the time. Day of I couldn't have been happier. I went with airbrush even though i had never had it done before

I would suggest getting a trial as well. The first one I had came out terrible, I swear the minimal amount of makeup I put on every morning lasted longer than what she did.  The 2nd trial I booked I went with someone who I knew would do a great job and I was 100% happy to book her. If I booked the 1st girl without a trail and she did my makeup on the day of I would cry....lol

I have problem skin, so I will do a trial. If you don't have skin issues and have been happy with your makeup as a BM, than it may not be necessary.

I did NOT do a trial and am glad I didn't waste the money.  My makeup looked beautiful the day of and I have no complaints.  I'm pretty laid back though and normally wear a decent amount of makeup, so I wasn't worried about looking too done up, etc.
