Jason Rhee Photography

I know a lot of the knotties on here recommend Jason.  Would some of you be able to tell me his average price range?  I know it probably depends on what package you want.  Also, do you have to pay extra for engagement photos?  Or would this be included? 

Where is his office located?

    We recently hired Jason for our wedding - very excited to use him!
    I see someone sent you the prices already - however, if you email him he is very quick to respond and very helpful. His office is up in the Fort Lee area by the GWB.

    I used him in October and absolutely LOVED him....I paid 2000 for all day coverage, all proofs (about 1000), our 12 x 12 album, 2 parent albums, thank yous, a mini album, and several large prints....He was awesome and basically everyone in my bridal party commented on how great he was....

    PS....his office is located in North Jersey, but he is willing to meet you in the middle. He met with me at Starbucks in Jersey Gardens mall, which was very close for me :)

You get the biggest bang for your buck with him based on all the photographers I met with. He is also the nicest guy in the world...the only photographer I actually felt comfortable with.     I am using Jason for my June wedding. The prices we received were a little different than the ones posted above, so I would definitely contact him to get his most recent price list. Overall, he was hundreds, of not thousands of dollars less expensive than other photographers we contacted, and definitely gave you alot for the price. I am excited to work with him, and check his website often to see his work from recent weddings. He told me when he posted pictures from a wedding he did at our venue so we could get a feel for him, and we loved what we saw!

    There is a reason why Jason doesn't publicize pricing on his website, and posting it here in a public forum kind of defeats that purpose.  I think this kind of thing is best suited for PM's.

    I disagree. People are constantly sharing vendor pricing on these boards, no reason it can't be posted publicly.

    I know that starting out it is good to know some quotes so that you know whether or not a vendor is possible. I don't think Jason minds. I actually told him that I have recommended him on here and have given out information and he seemed pleased. It is not always going to be the same price for everyone because he can customize a package and any vendor's prices go up. I booked him in December of 09, so naturally he will be a little higher for people looking to book him now. Like I said, we discuss prices on here all the time....this way we all know what is possible and what is not and to get a roundabout estimate.

    You can do what you what, but you are doing the vendor an injustice.  And just because  other people do it, really doesn't mean anything.

    If a vendor doesn't post prices publically on a website, there is a reason.  One of them is probably to hide his pricing from his competition, and now they can see this post on this public forum.
