Question about food

Hi everyone -- Has anyone been to or had their wedding at the Orange Lawn Tennis Club and can comment on the food?

Also, is it customary to try the food before signing a contract?

I don't know if you're still reading (I missed your post because I was on my honeymoon, and because of its generic title), but I had my reception there three weeks ago. ) The food was exceptional; however, this was under the previous chef. Bookings since November 2010 (I think) are being catered by a new chef.

Very few venues offer tastings before booking. Some (like The Tides in North Haledon) have open houses where you can sample the food.
