XP: Vistaprint help

Any of you girls Vistaprint gurus?

I created my thank you card in Powerpoint...I don't have photoshop or anything unfortunately.  Actually, I have a trial version of Adobe Photoshop, but it doesn't allow you to save documents you create in there...which doesn't help me.

When I upload to Vistaprint, the quality is terrible....any suggestions?

I don't know much about vista print but can you save your document as a PDF? That might help. Also I *think* you can change and adjust the resolution settings when you save a PDF (though it might depend on the program).

You can definitely print high res PDFs from Word. I'd recommend bringing the powerpoint file into word if possible and then printing to Adobe PDF out of word. Just make sure it's set to print a high-res PDF.

Try export or when you go to print instead of selecting your normal printer sometimes depending on your settings Adobe PDF will be a printer option. Hope that helps.

I'm running Office 2007 and in the menu it goes Print, Prepare, Send, Publish and when you hover over Publish it has an option that says "Create Handouts in Microsoft Office Word"

...Or you could email me the file and I convert it for you, lol. I work in Adobe and Office all day long. swalcheski@gmail.com

Another easy option is to go to the Editing area in the Home Tab (Far right) & click "Select All."  Once everything is selected you can right click and "Save as Picture"

Just be sure to switch the type (under file name) to jpeg.  You can upload a jpeg to Vistaprint.

Sometimes PDF'ing will affect file quality too, so this is just another option!
