I use Kayak. They seem to have good prices. But if you're doing a big trip I'd suggest working with a travel agent. Ours got us rates cheaper than anything we could find online and also gave us suggestions for things we would never have known about. And they are free!

I honeymooned in Turks and Caicos :)

I usually just used trip advisor to read reviews and googling.  Once I found a hotel I liked, I would research trip advisor, look at prices on the hotel's website, then see if my TA would offer anything better.

I LOVE tripadvisor.com to check out various different locations/hotels etc.  If you sign up you can chat with others in the forums (very similar to theknot) and ask advice, questions to others.  Its really helpful and I use it for every trip.  Also, do you have an AMEX card?  Their travel agency is really good (free) and will work really hard to get you the best price. I like kayak as well.

Never been to T&C, but want to go soon.  The beaches are supposed to be incredible.

Love the Virgin islands and BVIs.  Virgin Gorda is a great island for a honeymoon.  Also, check out Peter Island Resort.

I agree check out tripadvisor. The site we usually book our trips off is Orbitz. We have never had a problem with and if you google orbitz coupon codes we have always found one to save money on booking our trip. MH has been to the Virgin Islands and loved it. I've never been to T&C but heard it's gorgeous.
