NWR: 30th Bday Party for FI in Monmouth County, need suggestions pls

So as a few of you might remember, I don't live in NJ, I live in Westchester NY getting married in NJ bc FI family and friends are from there. That said, I have been racking my brain for 2 months or so about planning a surprise 30th for my FI in the Monmouth County area, maybe a little on the outskirts. I originally wanted a bar atmosphere, approx 25-30 people, food/buffet and open bar.
So I contacted a few places: Connelly Station was the most reasonably priced but FI just had another bday party and a bachelor party there within the past 6 months so didn't want to duplicate. I like the Boat House but they were kind of pricey per person, I have a call into Jacks Bar & Grill but no prices yet. La Cippolinas or whatever was a party we also went to recently so thats out. Im sure theres 100s more that I dont know about.

Do you ladies have any suggestions for me? Looking to spend less than $40pp including tax & gratuity (maybe this is unreasonable). I'm open to suggestions like restaurants that are BYOB (but I really wanted space with a bar). I appreciate any assistance

No, but it says cocktail packages start at $24 so it may be cheaper that way? sorry i just saw "open bar" not byob

Thanks ..coupled with food, a bit too pricey for what im looking for but thanks for the suggestion

it can't hurt to ask them -- when i was looking for a rehearsal dinner location the place i wanted was $$ when I told them my price range they were able to take away certain things to make it affordable.

You could try Yesterdays in Hazlet. For a bridal shower with vodka punch it was I believe $26.95pp. Not sure what they offer for other parties.

Thanks, I actually got the best quote from a place called Brewsters in Bradley Beach, its next to a bowling alley which seems gross (IMO - even though my FI is a profesisonal bowler and owns a bowling pre-shop, but not there) but the bar and restaurant area are super nice and the prices are great. Thanks for everyones input.
