Ours were taken in Liberty State Park and on a ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty (and on Liberty Island itself) and we liked those a lot.

Not sure where you are located but Verona Park is really nice. You can also get some great pictures at a train station.

I took mine at the NJ Botanical Gardens. I loved it and it wasn't crowded at all which was very nice.
