I know this was not smart...invitation problem!!

Okay so I know this was probably stupid on my part but here goes...
One of my best girlfriends also a bridesmaids got her wedding invitations b/c she belongs to direct buy. She said when I first got engaged last October that she would be happy to order the same ones for me for my wedding this November...so she said she called direct buy to place the order but I have not heard from her in a week! I tried calling, tried texting, etc. no response but I know she is online b/c she sent a fwd joke to everybody....Well it is June now...do I still have time for invitations to come in August so I can send them out in Sept or am I super late??? Any advice?

    My invitations only took a week, but it sounds like it's time to find your own invitation vendor.

    Yup I thinks so too..I just wrote her an email (a nice one) just telling her that if it is too much I can find invitations on my own and no big deal at all (which is the truth-I am not mad or bothered--I just want to know) but told her to just let me know ASAP b/c I don't know if she has placed the order yet....

    Any invitation suggestions? I live in Mercer County and the ones she was going to order I think were Carlson Craft Golden pocket but I like Encore invitations and lots more! I heard of someone in my hometown that does custom invites, but it is probably too late for that right? I guess I could always call her...

    Blue Tulip has nice invites, but they are pricey.
    my fave site so far is Hello Lucky.

    I don't think it is too late but you should start now. I wouldn't wait for a phone call back from your friend. I would find someone and run with it.

    I ordered mine from weddingpaperdivas.com and they came in less than a week. Got rave reviews on them.  Very good qual;ity and a ton of really pretty designs

    You can order invitations online.  Just give yourself plenty of time to review proofs....

    Hi! I'm in Mercer County as well. My friend, who is also my neighbor, does custom invites as well.  She does them pretty quickly from what I understand.  She has an etsy site: http://www.etsy.com/shop/laurenalexab
