I would like to know what is there for a wedding first dance routine I would like to take classes to look better but i have no idea of prices. Please recommend someone you know and how much should expect to spend. Thanks

I would highly recommend taking dance lessons. We had so much fun doing it. We took 3 lessons at Starlight Dance Studio in Nutley. I believe it was around $90 per class.

We went to Anchor Dance in Oradell and worked with Iris who was great.  We bought a package that included 5 private lessons (we ended up taking 6 in the end) and 10 group lessons to learn other dances.  We still have group lessons left over, so we'll go back for more.  Our dance wasn't 100% planned out, but the lessons definitely helped us learn moves so we felt totally comfortable dancing to our song.

If you are in or near Morris county, they have private lessons through the Morris Community School.  It's 4 lessons for $150, and the instructor tries to schedule the last lesson at your venue so you can get a feel for the actual dance space.  It's a bargain!  Here is the link:

The class is not listed in the catalog because they are private classes and scheduled accordingly... but call the main number and they will connect you to the instructor.  Good luck~!

This is a great idea! There's a place in Hoboken at 1200 Park Ave that does them. Name escapes me but it looks great.
