XP: Rings sized in Essex/Union Cty?

Hi Ladies -

I spent 2 years on these boards a while ago... wondering if you can help me out now.

My engagement ring hasn't fit since this summer (pre-pregnancy). My wedding band is still fitting pretty well and is a little bigger than my e-ring. I really miss wearing it and want to get it sized to the same as my wedding band.

Do you girls know of anyplace I can go that'll do it same day? Thanks!

    any jeweler should be able to do it but I don't think it will be same day anywhere.

    Call local jewelers and see when they have a jeweler on the premises. Fast isn't always good in terms of jeweler services. Littman Jewelers in Bridgewater has a jeweler on site on Tuesdays (Alex) and the Ocean County location has a jeweler on Monday and Friday (Ralph). You can just call around as well, but rushing a jeweler who is doing delicate work isn't a good idea. Let them take their time and do the job well.

    I would recommend West Orange Jewelers in Roseland. Rich is great, the only thing is I know that you would have to leave the ring. I agree with PPer's in the fact that you don't want to rush any delicate work.
