MOB Dress

My mom has been ordering dresses from Nordstroms, but I think she wants to go to a Bridal Salon to look at some more "traditional" MOB type dresses.

We are in Morris County...any recommendations of places to look? I bought my dress at I Do I Do in Morristown, but they only carry bridal gowns.

I don't have any Morris County specific recs - my mom got her gown at Russell's in Linden.  But FWIW, when my best friend got married her mom got her gown at Nordstrom and she looked absolutely stunning!

Rosa Rita in denville they were great my mother finally found her dress there.

My mom got her dress at Macys Bridal Salon. She went to the one in menlo, but I think that there are others in NJ.

Just wanted to say my mom ordered a ton of dresses online and when she didn't think she'd find anything, she got one from Nordstrom that she loved!

If you're looking for more traditional dresses I would suggest going to Bliss in Allendale during a trunk show.  MOG couldn't find anything and I walked right in and found her dress there.

Thank you all so much. I think she's purchased about 10 dresses from Nordstroms so far but none are quite "right".

Tell your mom not to feel bad...my mom also purchased at least 10 dresses from Nordstrom online.  The folks at her Nordstrom got to know her after she made all the returns.  She also ordered a bunch from Neimans and returned them to Short Hills.  She wound up with a gorgeous silk long suit from Nordstrom - tell you mom to keep trying and she might find it!

When we were looking at bridal gowns, we found that Bijou in Paramus had a great selection of MOB gowns.  It's a bit of a drive but worth the trip.
