Hey I just saw your post about the traffic ticket.  When you called them did you tell them that you were pleading NOT GUILTY?

Yes. They said, "OK, we'll send you a new date" and that was the last I heard.

Just curious, I didn't know what other advice you got on the nest.  Between my H and I we have had to do this more times than I would like to admit, but it is really easy to get the points dropped so I just wanted to make sure you got good advice.

Someone I know is a police officer (not for JC, though) and he offered to go to court with me if I wanted, when I ask them to knock the points off.

I'm kicking myself because I had a gold card in my wallet, and forgot to give it to the PO who pulled me over. I remembered just as he was walking back to his squad car with my license. Doh!!! The PO was very polite the whole time, and I was hoping he'd let me off with a warning but no dice. Oh well.

Aww, I just recently got a gold card and I know that I will do the same if I get pulled over.  I really don't ever get pulled over anymore but the one time I do i know I will forgot it.....hahaha.  Well good luck, it really isn't that bad.  You don't even usually talk to the prosecutor, he just says "okay this is what I will do"  and then he just drops the points.
