Beach Decor Help

Hi everyone,
I am getting married on 9/17/11 in Carolina Beach.  We will be using bamboo poles to mark the aisle. I want to tie some ribbons on the poles. Does anyone know how long the ribbons should be?

No really, it depends on a lot of things, how long are your poles, how far from the poles are the guests going to be seated, how far apart are the poles, all sorts of things.  I think you're just going to have to tie some ribbon on a stick and see if it looks like you want.

I agree with Mary.  It really comes down to what you want.  Play around and see what you like.

For our wedding, we used tiki touches.  I found these great leave vines on oriental trading company that I wrapped around them then got some really nice fake orchids from michaels. It looked really nice.  I have a picture of it below of it (sorry it's poor quality, it's off my phone).  Hope that gives you some ideas!
