Come on. . fess up!

Me:

I was in our living room and could hear dumb (Gir) and dumber (Rudy) upstairs rough housing around. I didn't think anything of it, because they're cats and well, they've lost a few nuggets from their noggins.

Anyways, turns out kitties are going CRAZYYY in the bath tub, pulled down the shower curtain (pretty sure one climbed to the top), one fell in the toliet (wet paw prints), somebody flipped over the trashcan and another somebody unraveled the WHOLE roll of toliet paper (I'm placing bets on Gir).

I'm totally laying off the catnip. . .

My FI goes to Wake and I just graduated. Just found out that "Snookie" is coming to Wake soon. 1) I didn't even know who this girl is until I did a google search 2) I have no idea why Wake would pay for her to come to our school 3) My FI started a FB question about "Snookie coming to Wake Forest...fail?" on which 61% of 331 people voted "epic fail" 4) I find out she has written a book...but the best part: FI and I decide to look it up on Amazon and read the reviews- it has been so long since I laughed that hard, I was crying because it was so funny. After reading all of the reviews I decided other people are way more creative than me! Some of the reviews were so original and hilarious. If you need a good laugh, I highly suggest it (just have a tissue or something because I couldn't stop the tears!)

Sorry for any Jersey Shore/Snookie fans out there!

I was subbing ina 1st grade classroom yesterday and a little boy came up and told me his dad's favorite song is "Billie Jean" and proceeded to sing the chorus for me along with some neat dance moves -- it made me laugh and it was adorable

One of my students came up to me & said, "I stretched my arm out on the playground.  It hurts really bad, and I do not think I will be okay.  It used to be this short (demonstrates how "short" her arm is), and now look how long it is (demonstrates how "long" it is)." Talk about dramatic! She was very serious about how her arm stretched a couple of inches within the span of 10 minutes.

I'm an elementary school teacher and my students were playing Simon Says at recess. "Joey" was Simon and he gets up in front the line of kids and says "Simon says... 'Michael' is it!" Then "Joey" went and stood back in the line of kids and "Michael" came out and was the Simon. I laughed so hard. The kids thought it was funny too and it was cute to hear all their little laughs.

We had a teacher work day today and my co-workers were cracking me UP.  Nothing in particular....they are just fantastic.  Gotta love working with amazing people!

I have a job that involves reading medical records all day long. At some of the psych appointments, they ask people to explain what common proverbs mean, like "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

In response to what does "all that glitter isn't gold" mean, one man answered "all because a chick is hot doesn't mean she won't give you AIDS."

I have to say, it's a perfectly legit analogy, but I can't say it's the first one that would have popped into my head.
