I can't remember if I shared this story here, but I'm going through our pictures and it reminded me of something one of the groomsmen did during the ceremony. We had a traditional hour long Catholic mass/ceremony and I guess I didn't take into consideration that some of my BP weren't used to the same style mass. DH's groomsman is Jewish and during the Catholic ceremony, we each come up to the priest and recieve communion - the body of Christ... it's this little wafer. Anyway, he didn't know what was going on, so he just followed - which I probably would have do... But then he came up to the altar and told DH and I that "Jesus tastes like matza!" With the seriousness of the moment, the three of us laughed... I can tell you the preist wasn't happy. He hurried up to the altar and told him to go back and kneel and pray. Random - but I thought I'd share. Moral of the story - it's important to remember not everyone will know what's going on during your ceremony!
