why am i not nervous?

ok so since i just wrote that i am probably totally jinxing myself but i really feel calm and im getting married saturdaall i keep thinking of is that line from the movie "father of the bride"  where he talks about annie being calm right before they walk down the aisle and he goes "very un-banks like".... well thats what i am right now. its so not like me to be acting like this! i guess its because i know that whatever happens happens and i cant change the things that go wrong.


did anyone else feel calm before the wedding?

Go with it and enjoy the peace of mind for as long as it lasts!  May it last throughout the rest of the wedding prep, through the event, and into a glorious honeymoon! 

But if it doesn't...come back and read your post so you know you had it and can get it back!!!

Our wedding is on Friday and I am totally calm. I really am starting to get annoyed with people asking me if I am nervous. Honestly the only thing that is sort of freaking me out is  being the center of attention. Just enjoy the calm and take in every moment of your wedding. Hope your wedding goes well and you have a wonderful time!

I was so serene on my wedding day and expected to be a trainwreck.  My support team leading up to my wedding (family, friends and vendors) was always there for me, shared in my happiness and kept me grounded and laughing.  All that kept me calm on the big day.

I agree with Emmie.  Go with it and embrace the peace of mind and may it endure through the prep of your big day, your event and a beautiful honeymoon.

I was also very calm. Just take it all in and enjoy the day. My mom and BM's were more nervous on the day of my wedding and everyone couldn't believe how relaxed I was. It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend, have a great day

I was a wreck up until the week of the wedding... then all of a sudden a calm came over me. Everyone was waiting for me to explode (aka become bridezilla like they all put bets on) and it never happened. Even day of I was beyond calm- until we got in the limo bus to go to the church and everyone started singing "Going to the chapel.." and I lost it. I cried all the way down the aisle haha. Enjoy it and have so much fun this weekend!

allie - i would lose it too if they started singing. not by crying but yelling at them to stop because that would make me nervous!
