Invitations- finally

I feel like I have set these off on the back burner for so (too) long but I finally buckled down and picked out invitations and they are being shipped to me as we speak! Already printed, just have to write in the addresses. I am all for simplicity. I thought about doing the ones you print yourself, but knowing me I would have ended up pulling my hair out! I honestly cannot believe how fast things are going now!

Don't feel bad. I just bought mine from Michael's yesterday. I plan on working on them and trying to get them in the mail next week. I'm a procrastinator and it will probably bite me in the butt this time. lol!

Yep.  Most sources say 6-8 weeks.  So don't kick yourself if it's 7 :)

I loved writing all the addresses on our envelopes and stuffing them and all that. I'm weird.

I think I would enjoy the writing and stuffing if I had a little more free time. I am an organizational freak so this probably has my name written all over it. I still get to write the guest's names though so that will be fun, and I get to test out my super neat handwriting which is usually anything BUT neat. Hah!

Ha yes.  I cut an index card to fit inside the envelopes (actually about 5 of them) and drew dark straight lines on the index card.  That way I had something to go off of to make the addresses straight and in the right place every time.  That made it a lot easier.  And a good pen is amazing for your handwriting.

That is an AMAZING idea, will definitely be doing that! I probably need to invest in a good pen. All of mine tend to err on the iffy side of working or not.

Mary, you know. . I reallllly could have used that advice when I was addressing our invites. .

Our invites went out at 5 weeks because we had to send them after Christmas (didn't want them lost in the Christmas cards). You'll be fine :)
