Photographer Question

Hi everyone :)
As I'm currently in shops for a Photographer. I was ecstatic when I found Jason Rhee and thought his prices where very fair, and his work good. When we met with him I loved his albums and samples but Fi was not so impressed, and said he wanted to keep looking just to compare. The only thing is I' am having serious problems with finding any reputable photographers that offer albums and unlimited hours etc.. for under 2,500. Are there any out there? Any recommendations would be appreciated.
TIA

We used Sean Patrick for exactly $2500 and he was AWESOME!
We had our proofs online the next day! Check him out for sure...

We are using Milton Gil. I believe he has packages in your price range, but he can always do ala carte as well. If there is something you think isn't necessary, just take it out and save the money. He's really great and has a ton of style. He did my brother's wedding back in 2003 and will be doing mine next summer!

Basically it included his full day of shooting and then $2500 'credits' we could apply to anything he offers that we want... album / parent album / thank yous / etc. (So essentially you can custom your own package.) It also included the rights to the photos, so we got both a disc and hard copies of all the proofs.

We are using Abacus Studios, and they are maybe about $2100 depending on the package (they have discounts for military and teachers). The package we got, classic photo package, includes all day coverage and one wedding album, and then they have a promotion that gave us two parents albums for free, and we added in the high resolution CD with all the pictures and the rights to print them for home use (very important to me and worth every penny!). It seemed like a really good deal, and they have good reviews on weddingwire.com.

I was just in a wedding shot by Jason Rhee. He did a great job (pending seeing the photos) but my only complaint was he didn't give us as the bridal party any direction. He wouldn't verbalize how/where he wanted us to stand. It became a little frustrating but I don't know if the bride noticed or not. We needed someone to step in and say "Here. Stand here" for the posed formals.

I notice all his bridal party pictures are with people all over. Not really posed shots, now i know why.

Take a look at Robert Wayne Photography (http://www.robertwaynephotography.com/)

For $2500, we're getting photography for the full day, a very beautiful Zookbinder album which is a pretty high-end album, and other stuff. I love Bob's style of photography and he's priced very fairly. Actually, he and his approach happen to remind me a lot of Jason Rhee so if you like one, you'll probably like the other. Good luck.
