Did your dress come in yet?

I had been told my dress was to arrive on 6/30 and when it didn't they told me my ship date was 7/15, and they just called me, it came in today. :o) So I'm hoping yours has came in too!

    Have yet to get the call. I did send an email. I wonder if they will respond....

    Thanks for the congratulations on getting engaged.

    I actually ordered my dress from you all...but it has not yet arrived.

    I was told it was being shipped on June 15th. I waited until June 18th to call the store and inquire about the dress.  I was then told the dress would ship on June 28th, but possibly sooner.  I waited to call until July 1st about the dress and was told the shipping could be delayed due to the holiday weekend.  Well, now what?? Do I have an actual arrival date for my dress? I've already had to cancel my first fitting appointment. My second appointment is scheduled for this Friday.

    Any solid information would be appreciated.

    I told them today on the phone that I wasn't getting my alterations with them, and I'll be honest, her tone in her voice went from "omg, congratulations, your dress is here you are going to be such a beautiful bride" to "yeah come get your dress whenever you want"

    I have the owners email address, I emailed her when my dress didn't come in because I called and the person I spoke with told me it wasn't in and they didn't know when it was coming in. If you want, I can PM you with it. She responded to my email within 20 minutes and had the store manager call me, that's who told me my ship date was 7/15. They couldn't really explain why it changed from 6/30 though.

    I got a response!!!! I got this email from V.R.B. at 1230am. I'll have to keep my phone on me as I got into day two of all meetings. I just might have to excuse myself for a dress related phone call.

    I will personally check on this when I get to Victorian Rose in the morning. I didn't realize we had an issue but rest assure I will personally check into this and fix this for you when I get to work. Do you know who you spoke with when you called? Is the cell number the best number to reach you?

    I got a call from Kathy about two hours ago. My dress shipped from Texas today. It will take about four days.

    That sucks -- so no go for Friday, huh?  Hopefully Olga will be able to fit you in or get everything done in one day!!  I would certainly make sure the owner knows everything you went through since from her email it sounded like maybe the staff was just screwing up or at least not communicating well with you.

    Sorry the last message was so short. I was going to put more detail, but a co-worker came in my office and we talked for about 30 minutes about some work drama. 

    I got the phone call around 3pm. I saw it was a number I didn't have listed in my cell phone so I excused myself from the meetings to take the call. 

    Kathy was very apologetic. She said she didn't know any of the happenings with my dress. Never got any of my above listed phone calls...or probably the one where the manager was supposed to get back to me. 

    She said the dress was being shipped from Texas by UPS ground. She had a confirmation number but it didn't have an estimated arrival date. Kathy thought it would take 4 days.

    Four days means no Olga. I think my appointment is for 11am on Friday. I'm doubting the dress will make it here that fast. My final fitting is scheduled for July 24th. I'm going to wait to call Olga until Thursday mid-morning on the slight chance my dress makes it. I'm crossing my fingers she will be able to squeeze me in for a second appointment.

    That's really disappointing Shelly. Maybe she can squeeze you in some other time, she always seems to really try and help as much as she can.

    I really think that VRB should do something to make up for this to you, give you back some money off the dress, free veil, something! :o( I hate things worked out like this for you with your dress. No one should have to deal with that.

    I guess its too late to request it be shipped UPS Air rather than ground and have them cover the cost??

    When I talked to Kathy it sounded like the dress was already in route. I'm going to wait until noon to call Olga about tomorrow. Crossing my fingers my dress will arrive in the next few hours.

    I need major good vibes for this one!

    Major vibes!

    You can ask them to check the tracking number -- maybe it got into GSO today so that it will be delivered today or tomorrow.  It would be nice to know one way or the other I bet!
