Grand Cascades Lodge?

Hi! We just scheduled a tour for the Grand Cascades Lodge at the Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ. Does anyone have any experience with this venue? Went to a wedding there, had their wedding there, or heard what its like?

I've read reviews on weddingwire.com, but I'm hesitant to believe all of them (they're really good) only because it seems like every review I read on there is good! haha

I know I can get honest feedback on the Knot, though! :)

Thank you!

We got married there 2 years ago in late August and I would highly recommend it.  Everything was great. It was a beautiful venue and the food was great. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Chef's Garden outside, which was also perfect. I cannot say enough positive things about the place. I was initially turned off by the person who gave us the initial tour and handled the negotiations. However, once I booked, the wedding coordinator was so helpful and everyone else I dealt with was very professional.  My large Italian family is very picky about food and everyone was really happy with everything.

Many of our guests stayed over at the hotel so it was like a destination wedding but nearby. If you end up booking, you can PM me if you have any questions because I'm not on here that often. Good luck!
  • I haven't been to a wedding there, but every year we go to the NJ Food & Wine Festival there.  It's a huge event, and they do a great job with it.  The venue is great not only for your actual wedding reception, but there's also tons to do if people want to come a day early or stay an extra day.

  • I've never been to a wedding there but I live locally and attend a number of events there.  It's always very beautifully done.  The only complaint I ever hear is that it's pricey and not everyone thinks it represents a good value, but that's a personal decision.
