AW: Surprise Bridal Shower Yesterday (PIP)

I was completely surprised with a beautiful shower yesterday.  My mom and FMIL did an amazing job.  My bridesmaids were fabulous as well and I was so excited to see  them all especially my moh and another one of my bridesmaids who both came down from Boston.  There were about 65 ladies there (FI brought me there and came back at the end with my dad to pack up).  I was blown away with everyone's generosity and received so many wonderful gifts.  We only were able to fit maybe half in my car, the rest are at my parents' house.

I thought I was going to a surprise bday dinner for my Babci's (grandmother in Polish) 80th bday, which was Thursday.  I actually went to my grandparents' on her birthday, but I thought some aunts, uncles, and cousins were coming for a surprise dinner yesterday as well.  My mom told me to dress nice because my grandparents were coming from church(they go every week and always dress impeccably for church), I'm very happy with what I wore, but had another dress on standby in case I found out the date of my shower.  I was actually sent a fake invite to my uncle's 65th bday party on June 5th, which I thought was my shower.
I really had the best day yesterday and am still smiling from it!   
Sherri- it was at Carpaccio's in Middlesex.  I had never been there before, my mom's co-workers recommended it to her.  I didn't eat very much, but what I did have was very good! 

Thanks so much for the compliments ladies!  When I joined the knot all of this felt so far off and now I'm two and a half months away from my wedding, I can't believe it!!

It is so nice that you were really surprised! With having to plan for OOT guests, around summer holidays and the fact that my mom doesn't know local restaurants, my shower is anything but a surprise. They did a great job keeping yours under wraps!

I had my surprise shower on Saturday!  Your lucky you just happened to have a white dress on!  I ended up showing up to my shower with jeans!
