Hey Sherri!

I went to Roman Jewelers in the Bridgewater Mall. We work with Lucy and absolutely adore her. She really has an amazing eye and is super talented - and she's sooo honest. They a bit on the pricey side - but their quality is phenomenal!

You eluded to the fact that there is something wrong with your ring? is everything ok?

Thanks for the info- I'm sure everything is okay- I'm just a nervous nelly and feel like my diamond could be loose but I'm sure I'm imagining it. I'll have to go check her out soon. I also want to look for a gift for FI so I might be able to make it a multi-purpose trip!! Thanks for the info and rec's!

Sherri - if you are uncomfortable about the diamond being loose, can you get a 6 pt prong? (I'm not sure how many you have now.) My diamond is loose, in my opinion, and I've taken it to several stores and they all assure me it's how it's supposed to be and w/ the 6 prongs it's pretty safe.

I have 4 now- I feel like FI would kill me if I suggested a different setting, but maybe if it means the diamond being more secure it'd be worth it. I'll have to mention that when I go- thanks for the idea! I never would have thought of the prongs.

Exactly the reason I got 6 prong... I know a few people whose 4 prong rings became loose and they had to get it fixed or lost the diamond. My friend's diamond fell out on the ferry- thankfully she knew one of the workers and he found it and held onto it until the next day. Not worth it to me.
