The Knot - Website changes!?

Hi All,

So I used the knot to create my wedding website, and I just filled out all my Save the Dates (100 Magnets) with the website on it.  I just went onto the knot to update the website and now it seems to have changed, its like lastnamebride&groom.ourwedding.com....Did anyone else notice this difference? I used the old URL theknot.com/ourwedding/xxandxx and it worked fine.  They won't be taking the old website down will they?  The magnets were shipped, so it's obviously too late too change...

I'm sure they've set up a redirect for anyone who uses the old link.  You'll be fine.

I would suggest trying to contact TK to find out if they are going to keep the redirection for awhile.. but since you've already ordered the STDs anyway, it doesn't matter at this point, unless you would reprint them with the new address..

Definitely not going to reprint them...I emailed them to see what they say...I'm assuming they have to keep this for a while, otherwise they will have some angry brides!  Just very frustrating when you get ordered and everything changes 5 days later!

I sent out my STDs too.  I wrote in the address and it automatically redirects you. I freaked out too!
