    I looked at TONS of photographers and fell in love with Todd Laffler's work.  Check out his blog.

    Ugh; this is asked so often and the same names are trotted out over and over again.  And it's very dependent on budget and the photographic style that will appeal to your friends.

    That said, we're excited about our photographer, Robert Wayne Photography.  We love his style, his albums are wonderful, we like his a la carte approach to packages, and we found him to be very affordable.

    We're having friends do videography; just the ceremony and a few important moments during the reception.

    Rob Villano of Villanovisions! He was fabulous to work with and offered a lot of different packages in different price ranges.

    Budget is really important - but if she is willing to spend more for an AMAZING videographer - we are going with Fiore Films.  What Sharrone does is just spectacular.  I cannot wait for her to capture my wedding :)

    We're also gong with Kate Connelly because her style and personality really clicked with what we wanted.

    We're also Robert Wayne Photography for all the same reasons AnnandTed expressed.

    We investigated doing video and would have booked with Creative Video Concepts in Newton, but we decided to have family and friends do it.

    For the overall Wedding, I recommend Evergreen Studios  &   Storytime Videos.

    Storytime Videos does videograhy & photo/video montages.  Can do montages for any wedding festivity and/or will combine ALL wedding festivities into one video from parties to wedding to honeymoon, etc.    All videos are custom made.    Storytime will also film from interviews to parties, etc.

    For Videography of the Wedding Day or other large special event, Storytime teams up with Evergreen Studios and work together on filming overall Wedding so you get 2-3 people covering on all important parts of the day. 
    Beautiful videography, experienced team, great prices, thoughtful,  friendly, knowlegeable.   Works well with the guests and bride & groom to capture all key moments.
