I guess I like it since it's chocolate, but what exactly are you thinking of doing?

godiva puts together 2 pieces of chocolate in thier box either white or gold with your color ribbon and a charm of your choice for thier favor... its 4.75 each box and I thought that was a great favor but little pricey

i was thinking the same thing!!! they actually offer a discount when you order online. it's not huge but it's a discount. also, if you get the ones that don't have the charm, i think it comes down to 3.75

Normally a good idea... just be careful!

My FSIL had these mini Godiva chocolate cake shaped candies favors for her wedding. She did not get them directly from Godiva though, she got them from some private vendor for supposedly an amazing price.

Well, I bit into mine the MONDAY after her FRIDAY wedding, and it was completely rancid all ready! I looked into it and inside was filled with mold! To make sure it wasn't a fluke, I had my mom as well as FI break open theirs too ~ and sure enough same thing. Gross.

Make sure you get them from a reputable place, as you really should with any food favor. Don't be tempted by  ridiculously cheaper deals.... they are usually that way for a reason!

Ohhh yeah, I think that's way too much for two pieces of chocolate (Godiva or not).

Not worth it in my opinion.

ohh ok i will def order them online.... and i heard if you have the cablevision discount card they give you a discount as well at godiva.com......

I think that's insane for two pieces of chocolate. I would never pay $4.75/person on a favor that you don't know if they are going to eat

I bet you can find chocolates that are just as good for cheaper.

I like Godiva, but that is really pricey. You could always get chocolate and little favor boxes and put it together yourself for a much lower cost per favor.

I am a Godiva addict, but, as much as I love the idea, that's so very pricey for favors.

As a guest, I'd be perfectly happy to receive it -- but if I knew what you spent on it I'd think you got ripped off.  Godiva is better than Hersey's certainly, but it is not $4.75 for two pieces good.  You could get a two piece Jacques Torres favor for the same price and it would be so much better than Godiva.

We are doing the same type of favor, but getting them from Bromilow's Chocolates in West Paterson (off of Rt. 46).  They also have a West Caldwell location.  They have a variety of different boxes, sizes and prices.  The one we picked will be about 2.75 per favor and contain 3 chocolates.

Most importantly, the chocolates are delicious!!!!!
