I just got coupons for shallac or UV Gels.... Has anyone ever been here?  Is it clean? Nice?

What is the difference between UV and Shellac? Can they do  french Manicure in both?

I'm pretty sure Shellac is just the colored polish, that goes under the UV light and doesn't chip. If you want a french, I think you'd need do just do the UV gel.

You can have a french manicure done with Shellac, I've done it twice so far with great results.

I assume that the UV gels are the same, but Shellac is the brand name and I definitely recommend the Shellac manicure over the OPI Axxium (I had that done and they chipped, peeled and damaged my nails.)

ahh, see I wasn't sure.. I've had the UV gel done with a french that literally lasted forever.. and I currently have a UV color on my nails. It has been 3 weeks and I don't have 1 chip on any of them. I don't know what brand it is, but it lasted great.

The process for both was similar, but for some reason the OPI was way worse and harsh on my nails. I've read that others have had the same problem, too.
