I saw your post about your cork seating card holders...I've wanted to do this but didn't know how hard it was going to be.  I can picture myself slicing thru a finger or my hand as the corks keep breaking and splitting.
Do you have pictures of yours? How are you stopping them from rolling? Or did you do them standing up on the ends??

I will take a pic tonight and post it for you tomorrow. I thought the same thing but FI was like this should be easy. Surprisingly it was. We sat in front of the tv one night and banged them all out. We took serrated kitchen knifes and sliced off a small piece from one side so they won't roll, this made the bottom flat. Then we just made a small cut down the other side and made sure our seating cards can fit in there. It took maybe an hour and a half and we did 125 of them. FI used a pair of plyers to secure it and prevent them from rolling, neither of us got cut, thank God!

great to know...thanks! Are you fixing them to something? Or just laying them individually on a table? Well not you...but someone :)

We are going to have them laid out on a table. We have our florist doing a center piece on the table that they will go around.
