Elopement ideas in NJ

Anyone know of any places in NJ just for the 2 of us to elope? Weekend getaway.. Something nice and romantic ...thanks

This is one of my favorite posts ever!  I'm not sure about NJ, but my sister recently got married at City Hall in NYC on a Friday morning.  It was one of the happiest places I have ever been in my life.  Afterwards we went to City Hall restaurant a couple blocks away.  I don't know if NYC is an option for you, but thought I would put it out there!

Depends on what time of year you want to elope, but I love the Jersey shore, down by Avalon or Cape May, in the off season.  During the summer, they get crazy, but the early spring/late fall, they can still be really beautiful and kind of empty (which is really nice).

Then again, I may be biased because my FI proposed in Februrary, on the beach, in the snow, in Avalon :P

I love Cape May.  FI proposed to me on Sunset beach it is so romantic.  Cape May has great places to stay.

I'd definitely check out Cape May's city hall, also Hoboken's.

Cape May or Spring Lake. 

DH & I toyed with the idea of telling a few friends to wear sundresses/ slacks for guys & rounding them up in a limo to get married on the beach.

Another vote for Cape May.  DH and I got engaged at Congress Hall and, during that trip, walked past City Hall and saw a couple eloping.  They had a photographer taking pictures and just looked so happy.  I am sure the Cape May Tourism folks could help with more options.

Lol this all sounds so good we should just drop all of our wedding plans and elope I am over this long engagement!
