Spray Tan- follow up, rubbing off on dress

I forget who asked, but I know I assured them that it wouldn't rub off on their dress. I was wrong. Well, slightly. I did say to take 3 showers. I took a shower and a rinse off the morning of (I couldn't do my hair) so really 1.5 haha. I really should have listened to myself, but since I told them I wanted it light and natural, they actually listened. It looked great so I didn't want it all to come off, hence the not taking my recommended 3 showers. The tan did come off a little bit on my dress, but it was also warm out and I was sweaty. I don't think anyone else noticed though to be honest. Just wanted to give a heads up... lol

Where did it rub off? How far in advance did you get sprayed?
I'm really nervous about this happening to me.

Just rubbed off under the armpits... I got it done on Thursday for a Saturday wedding. Honestly, not really noticeable and I do think if I had showered more I wouldn't have rubbed off.

Lol Allie - my FI has been spray tanning for the first time in his life - and it is like a hilarious comic book in our apartment. He is waking up with it on the pillow haha.  My advice for him was to get sprayed again tomorrow for the Sunday wedding. Allow time for it to set/ many showers.

I recently got a spray tan. I am fair skinned and FI and I have a wedding to go to next week for his best friend. I wanted to try it out to make sure it wasn't a disaster before I decided to go before the wedding. Overall, I liked it but I did notice when I was changing my sheets that there was spots on them. At first I couldn't figure out what it was and then I realized that it must have been the spray tan. It came out of my sheets but I do agree that it can rub off.

I have heard this from tons of girls who got spray tans before their wedding.  Not that tanning is a good habit to pick up, but for just this one time in your life, I'd stick with tanning or laying out.
