Tuxedos for ring bearer?

I wasn't planning on having a ring bearer...but I just talked to my MOH/best friend today and she told me her 10/yo son was asking when he should get his tuxedo because he thought he was going to be our ring bearer! (Which I thought was really sad but adorable at the same time!)  So I'm wondering if this is something I can squeeze in at the last minute.

Did you rent a tuxedo for your ring bearer? And can anyone tell me how much they paid to rent a child-sized  tuxedo?  (Are they usually just as much as the men's version?)

Absolutely....we are getting tuxes from Russell's in Linden and they told us to bring the little guys a month before because they may grow. They price for them is a bit less than the groomsmen.

Yes, if you wanted the ring bearer to wear a tuxedo they are definitely available at the same store. Just another idea, the ring bearer doesn't have to wear a tuxedo. I have seen wear they are just in a suit or country club look, khaki shorts, button down shirt with suspenders.

Our ring bearers wore tuxedos but we got them black converse sneakers instead of them wearing the normal tuxedo shoes.  They loved the sneakers.

Oh definitely! It's perfect timing to. Just rent the tux, they are normally cheaper than the men's tux's. I love the idea of the converse! So cute!

my friends son was in a wedding last week and they rented his tux from mens warehouse and she paid $155 on the rental of the tux! I couldnt believe it was that much considering my fiancee just was in a wedding at the beg of the month and his rental from mens warehouse was $167

I am having a ring bearer but he will be almost 2.... We saw really cute little tuxs at burlington coat factory

yes you still have time - for men's wearhouse the measurements have to be in 2 weeks before the wedding but the price for the kid's tux is the same as the adults.  We have 2 ringbearers and 2 jr groomsmen - ages 4,6,8 & 10 and I think we are going to have them rent suits with vests and ties instead of a tux because it is half the price - the suit rental is only $75 and the tux is $140.

Aww that's so cute, yes you stlll have time to get him a tux. I went with Knickers for my two 3 year old twin ring bearers but I think he's def old enought at 10 for a tux. How sweet of him.
