Etsy Vendor Reviews

Hello ladies! I already reviewed my vendors for the wedding, but I didn't include the Etsy sellers I worked with. I really had a great time working with some of the vendors on that site, but it did take me a long time to find some of them! I'm hoping this will help any of you thinking about buying anything on the site. :) All the titles are links to the stores.

I used this vendor for laser-cut placecards for the Rehearsal Dinner. They turned out amazing! I got the alligator ones (since DH is a Florida Gator) in ivory to go with the palette of the decor. I used a calligraphy pen from AC Moore to write the names, although this vendor will print them on for an extra charge. I loved these, they were a great convo piece and everyone raved about them. Also, I only ordered them two weeks before the RD and they made sure they got to me ASAP so I would have time to do the calligraphy.

Blue Line Design B+
We used this vendor for wedding mad libs- she customized them for us and then sent a .PDF file that I could print wherever I wanted. They turned out great, but it wasn't as quick a turn-around as was implied to me by the designer. That was definitely off-set by how much fun people had with these!

This designer made the 4 burlap table runners for the RD. She made them to my specifications, and quickly, and they arrived in perfect condition! They looked lovely at the RD. If you're into the whole "shabby chic" decor vibe, this vendor is awesome, and definitely fairly priced.

We needed favor tags for our mini-bundt cakes, and this vendor got our colors exactly right, quickly shipped our tags, and is incredibly reasonably priced! We loved the way they looked with twine on the bundt cake boxes. So cute! :)

Colshelly B+
For the RD invites we wanted to do something slightly cheaper and more playful, and Colshelly's vintage bicycle-built-for-two invite with vintage-newspaper-lined envelopes were just the ticket! They were quickly shipped to us and were just as adorable as pictured online. The only issue I had with them was the liners- they were super cute, but didn't have that "professional" look to them. Which was, in effect, okay because of the awesome price. We got so many compliments on these.

ModDotTextiles A+++++
Hands down my favorite vendor to work with. Hope designed and made my bridesmaids their custom clutches. She is amazing. She worked with me to find fabrics I loved that would go with the bridesmaid dresses, and finished the clutches even before she said she would! I did work with her over a couple months, so plan ahead to use her, but it is worth it! The clutches were a great price, and I was also able to write a special message to each bridesmaid that Hope included as a "tag" in the liner. They turned out fabulous!

Belcanto A+++
This vendor specializes in vintage and vintage-inspired jewelry, and I bought my hair-comb from her that I wore under my birdcage veil (pic below.) I loved this- it was exactly what I was looking for, looked beautiful, and as DH said "we can pass this on to our daughter... or something." Ahh DH, always the wordsmith. :) I also had the pleasure of meeting the woman behind Belcanto at a bridal show at Southpoint, and she is very sweet in person.

My brooch is in my hair in the center, and the tag in on of the bridesmaid clutches is on the right.

TessaKim A
TessaKim was the first vendor I worked with on Etsy, she made my birdcage veil. It was a great price, and it was a great veil. Tessa shipped quickly, and I can definitely say I would work with her again.

Hope that helps any of you looking for things on Etsy. That site is highly addictive though, so beware! :)
