Dolce Basking Ridge prices?

I don't know how brides planned weddings before the internet.

Does anyone have approximate figures for the Dolce in Basking Ridge. I submitted a request for pricing, but haven't heard back yet.

I priced them out at like $125++ I thought it was expensive for what they offered.

Thanks for the info! That's more than I wanted to spend for that place.

Since you considered it also, may I ask what venue you ended up picking?

We ended up with the Brownstone.  We are so excited that we chose the location.  We are paying $100++ for way more food than what Dolce was giving. Plus the place is georgeous.  There are so many hotels in the area with free shuttle also.

What type of venue are you looking for? I used to be in sales so I am very familar with the venues.

We're looking for a place where we could have both the ceremony and reception. I want some outdoor aspect for the ceremony, cocktail hour, or both. A hotel would be a plus because we'll have several out of town guests, but it's not a must have. I really like modern decor and ambiance. $125 is reaching the top of our price range.

I haven't looked at any places in person, but based on reviews and pictures I want to check out: Hamilton Park Hotel, The Manor, and possibly The Mill at Spring Lake Heights.

The girls on this board really like the Manor. That may be a nice option for you, but I am not sure on the price.  Hamilton Park has a beautiful backyard and I know they work with your budget. Not trying to push at all, but we are actualyl having our ceremoney at the Brownstone in the Grand conservatory which is covered in glass.  We are getting married at night and on a clear evening the stars are beautiful. Not sure if they have outdoor space for the cocktail though.  Other places to check out: Mayfair Farms (beautfiful gardens), Olde Mill Inn, Double Tree Hotel Somerset.  I will think of more. I loved Mayfair and almost picked it except we were getting married in the winter and thought it was more of a summer place with all of the flowers and such. Our wedding would not have done it justice.

    Thanks for your input!

I actually hadn't even considered The Brownstone because I don't want the conservation to be on the Real Housewives of NJ all night, but based on your description I'm going to look into now.
