Really Stupid Question

I know this is a dumb question but I never thought about it until today.  Do FI and I have to pay for our meals?  I'm trying to figure out our final budget but I just don't know if I have to include us as "guests" when giving the final head count and payment.  Any help is appreciated.

I believe we were included in our final count.  One tip to note... if you have any no-shows, hopefully the venue can wrap up those meals for you and soon-to-be DH.

Yes, and definitely ask about getting food wrapped up.
Our venue wrapped up all of the hot items from our cocktail hour for us. We went home with literally TONS of food, from sausage and peppers, brocolli rabe, mashed potatoes, chicken marsala, stuffed shells, etc. We still have stuff in our freezer from the wedding.
They also said they would wrap our meals if we didn't finish them or didn't get to eat, but unfortunately they forgot to wrap mine I had only eaten about half of my dinner and they just threw it out. So if you can, try to remember to remind them to wrap your meal!

We went home with Trays upon trays of dinner food and desserts that were left over.  It all went to my parents house since we were leaving for the honeymoon 2 days later but it was unexpected and a nice surprise.

</div><div>And it's not a stupid question. I forgot to add us too, until the venue specifically asked if we counted ourselves in our number. You're so focused on the # of GUESTS, that you forget that you count when it comes to eating!</div>

not stupid at all!!!! I never even thought of that LOL...so the venue makes you pay for yourself & FI?? or are you just in the headcount?..cuz dangs thats messed up LOL you're giving them thooussanndss, they should give the bride & groom free meals! LOL
