any reviews for Rockleigh?

My cousin is lookng there. The place looks nice, but the menu online doesn't look that great for just a country club. Which the halls normally offer much more.
Thanks

I don't have any reviews, but I want to say that Einat got married there and she loved it.

Ditto pp. I remember seeing Einat's menu (talking about what food choices she made, not the paper) and it looked AMAZING. Not sure if she had it done specially or what, but try paging her. I don't know if she ever posts anymore.

I don't know that Rockleigh even is a real country club with members and golf and such -- I think it is banquet facility near a public golf course.  I could be wrong.  Also, I'm not sure that there is a distinction between what the menus should be like at "just a country club" versus a reception hall?  Your post seems to imply both that the menu should have more and less options than an average hall.

But at any rate, the menu online is a sample and I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain about the quantity or quality of the food at Rockleigh.  I really wouldn't judge based on the sample menu online.  Has your cousin requested more information including the full menu, pricing and such?

Just so you know, The  Rockleigh is not a country club, but  a banquet hall.  I'm getting married there in July.  We booked the venue based on the reputation of the food. There is a LOT of food offered on their menu.  We have our planning meeting next month, and the menu choices are overwhelming!  I've been to events there and the food was amazing.  There is an extensive cocktail hour offered as well as a 3 course sit-down meal.

Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll try to help you out!

I have never heard a bad thing about it, but you will pay.  Their tipping requirement is out of hand too......you can probably put on a small wedding for what you will pay just in gratuities.
