places in NJ with dancing for bachelorette party

Hi Ladies,

Older knottie here needing some help. My friend is getting married at the end of June, she's having a very small wedding, and no wedding party. She doesn't want to be a burden to anyone, she won't even allow a shower. She deserves a fun night out with her girlfriends, and that's what I plan on giving her! I've been talking with her fiance, he says she would like to go dancing. Is there anywhere with good dancing in NJ? I would rather not go into the city, I don't think she would want to, either. Morristown? Hoboken? Anything?  Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

  • I don't know the ages of your group (meaning whether or not you enjoy 80's music) but The Breakfast Club in Old Bridge was pretty cool. 80's music with some new stuff mixed in. Some people get dressed up in 80's attire but not all. We did. Krimped hair, hot pink tights, leg warmers...it was a blast!

Mo-town you have SOna 13 and Grasshopper! Lots of places in Hobo, but I never go there so I cant comment. I hope she loves whatever you put together

  • In Hoboken it depends what you're looking for.  Green Rock is a bar with good music.  Lana is a more traditional club.

  • There's a ton of places in Hoboken. If you're looking to dance you may want to check out a place with a live band like Willie McBrides or Whiskey Bar. Atlantic City is also fun for a bachelorette party.
  • We are doing the Colorado Cafe for my sisters Bachelorrette Party.
They will have country line dancing and a rock band in the bar area.
