Macaluso's In Hawthorne, NJ

Hello all :)

I have been venue searching for my wedding reception, which we plan to have on a Saturday night, July 7, 2012. 

I've received a proposal from Macaluso's in Hawthorne, NJ for $125pp (not including tax and tip) for their "deluxe" menu package, but having been to several other weddings at Macaluso's, I don't feel like we're necessarily getting the same type of premium menu options that others have for around the same cost and night (seafood, etc.)

Has anyone else been provided with a wedding proposal from them and if so, would you mind sharing what was the price that they quoted you?  Regardless of the date & time,  I'd still like to hear your feedback.

Would love to have some comparison points - thank you!!!

    I met with Macaluso's last week and he quoted us $125pp for a Saturday night in April/May. They mentioned that the prices would be the same for any date after Easter.  They also mentioned there is another package for $150pp.

    We met with them too- Sat night in April was around $150 a head for their premium package. That didn't include the lobster flambe show. I think that was an extra 15$ a head. Hope this helps!
